Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for experienced ITProject Managers with experience in managing small and medium-sized IT projectsin a complex multi-discipline setting. Individuals with the passion to drivesignificant business outcomes through project management skills, businessacumen, and leadership can apply for the same. As an experienced DevelopmentLeader, whilst being highly technical and hands-on capable, you will leaddevelopment projects on Laravel, Node.js, React Native, and Flutter-basedtechnologies. Project manager responsibilities include the coordination andcompletion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee allaspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor andsummarize the progress of the project.

Responsibilities

Manage medium to large projectswith more than 10 team members and be responsible for scope, schedule and costof the project
Manage communication to projectteam and stakeholders
Manage risks and issues inprojects and lead them to closure
Manage requirements traceabilitymatrix to solution by working with business analysts and architects
Enable team collaboration throughconducting workshops, meetings etc.,
Follow up on tasks to be completedby IT team members and resolve blocks to enable teams to make progress
Escalate to senior management andstakeholders to resolve issues and impediments
Own project managementdeliverables such as project charter, project plan,
Work with test managers andtesters to ensure test phases are carried out per plan
Ensure all change and releasemanagement are followed to implement changes to production environments andtransition to support teams
Utilize PM profession skills toenhance the level of service and quality of deliverables.
Communicate complex issues tostakeholders with recommendations on the path forward.
Assistance in security deploymentand management.
Estimate initial project cost andschedule with the help of project team members of different geography orcustomers as desired.
Allocate resources appropriatelyto meet program needs and minimize resource contention.
Coordinate stakeholder meetings toensure all parties understand the deliveries and milestones and the re-sourcesthat are assigned.
Proficient in Agile methodologywith an ability to adapt quickly to changing technology requirements

Eligibility Criteria

MCA, BE/B.TECH,BCA, BSC IT or Equivalent
2+ years ofexperience in the IT industry with minimum 2 years as Project Manager/ScrumMaster
PMP/ ScrumMaster certification

Skills

Bachelor'sdegree in IT / Engineering or related discipline with minimum 4 years ofexperience implementing IT solutions in a project manager role.
Deep knowledgeand experience in SDLC methodologies - waterfall, Agile etc.,
Thoroughunderstanding of project management artefacts and deliverables
Experiencefollowing best practices and project management standards
Experience withvendor engagement, Statement of work and procurement processes
A good understandingof software test methodologies, and exposure to test management tools is a plus
Great oral andwritten communication, presentation skills, meeting management, negotiation andconflict resolution skills
Demonstrateeagerness to learn new methods, follow lead and achieve results.
High internaldrive/self-initiative; Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
Priorexperience with Project Documentation, JIRA/Bug tracking software, proposalpreparation, etc.
